No longer just another cog in the industrial wheel, with two careers under his belt, Sheldon Morrison now works his tomato farm full time, pursuing his dreams as a farmer and artist. Sheldon’s tomatoes and produce are becoming a part of the food scene for the great restaurants in the area.
Good photographs are a way to promote sales for the business. Sheldon has found what he considers the best way to showcase his pictures. He chose a glass print which really makes the vibrant colors come to life.
Sheldon supports the mission of the St. Johns Cultural Council, the Tourist Development Council, and many others, with special emphasis on the local Farm to Table movement. By becoming immersed in a wide cross cultural and fields of discipline, he hopes to raise awareness the importance of the local farming community which has deep roots dating back to the Henry Flagler era, providing for the needs of St Johns County.
Pictures of his work are starting to be displayed at the same restaurants he provides produce; many are pictures of the Chefs who plated produce he sells. He wishes to show the symbiotic relationship between the farmer and the chef.
Through my glass prints and photography, I invite you to bring bits of my stories into your life and home. New glass prints are released regularly, so check back often. If you sign up for updates, you will get notified about new prints or books, sales, and shows. I have discovered a printing media which really makes the colors stand out.
I am surrounded both by natural beauty and interesting people. I use my camera to document the beauty of nature on the farm on glass prints with a focus on the magic I find in daily life. My photography tells my stories. I am the owner of Morrison Tomato Farm. I grow a wide variety of flowers to attract pollinators for my tomato crop. All my photographs are taken from the farm.
I've loved taking pictures since I took my first experience with a good camera. I'm inspired by the love I have for my little farm. I have photographed many different subjects, scenes, and moments. There's a photography moment in every corner of my farm. Glass prints make those moments memorable.
